As part of our initial marketing audit, we proposed introducing a strapline to the identity to strengthen the brand. The actual colourways, font and layout were off-limits due to the financial impact of a re brand so we had multiple brainstorming sessions with the Lilley’s so we fully understood the difference between Lilley’s Cider and the other brands.
BMC progressed their brand introducing a proposition that reflected the offer to the market – More Choice. More Taste – and then set about modernising the look of their above the line marketing.
We modernised the actual design of their identity introducing the strapline that promoted the USP. We then created a corporate brand style guide for consistency across marketing platforms, designed the pages for their new website and then created a new style of colourful packaging, direct and email marketing.
The updated look was very well received and we regularly see our packaging designs in the public houses around Somerset as well as Lilley’s vans which now sport our designs on their livery.
BMC designed the identity and packaging for Lilley’s. With around 33 different flavours to choose from, Lilley’s drinks are distinct, vegan, gluten free and made on site in Somerset.
