In 2020, BMC was approached by Cowin Global’s UK office, led by their Global Business Development Director, to address significant challenges with their online presence. During the lockdown, the organisation sought a comprehensive audit of their website from both design and usability perspectives.

Cowin Global, a logistics company with offices worldwide, faced several issues with their old website:

Multiple domain names for each region, leading to a fragmented online presence.
Separate dashboards for each domain, significantly increasing administrative workload.

Poor organic Google search performance across all sites, limiting visibility and effectiveness as a marketing tool.

What We Did

1. Consolidated Website Structure
We streamlined the website by consolidating all regional websites into a single, unified platform under one .com URL. This move drastically reduced administrative complexity and created a cohesive online presence for the brand.

2. Multilingual Functionality
To ensure the website served a global audience, we integrated a robust language system. This allowed users from different regions to access the site in their native language without the need for separate domain names.

3. SEO and Redirect Strategy
Working closely with Google, we implemented redirects for all existing global URLs. This ensured seamless user experience while preserving the domain authority of the old sites and improving organic search rankings for the new site.

4. Enhanced Hosting and E-Commerce Capabilities
The new website is hosted on a dedicated server to ensure reliability and scalability. Full e-commerce functionality was incorporated, enabling Cowin Global to offer products directly through their site.

5. Supporting Marketing Assets
To complement the new website, we developed additional marketing materials, including:
